Centennial Radon Solutions has installed hundreds of mitigation systems in the Pikes Peak region. Every system we have installed has successfully mitigated the radon level to below the EPA's action limit of 4 pCi/l. On this page you will find examples of systems we have installed.

Perimeter drain system connected in window well

Black Forest, 80908

Perimeter drain system connected in window well

Perimeter Drain Radon Reduction System with connection made in window well. Note fan system located outside window well. This is done to prevent water accumulation in the window well (each system has a water seperator above fan to dispell condensation so water does not enter perimeter drain) as well as aesthetics (Fan unit cannot be seen from inside basement). This installation still allows window wells to be fitted with covers or security grates.

Initial Radon level: pCi/l
Mitigated level: pCi/l

Perimeter drain system connected to sump pit

Colorado Springs, 80924

Perimeter drain/sump pit depressurization

Fan shroud enclosure

Monument, 80132

Shroud enclosure system

Drain tile depressurization system tied into sump pit within basement. Fan shroud lends to a neat and professional appearance. Available in white or black and can be painted to match the house.

Plumbing for a sub-slab system with multiple suction points

Pueblo West, 81007

Sub-slab system with multiple suction points

Multiple suction points with a sub-slab installation. Sometimes necessary with tight soil conditions

Initial Radon level: pCi/l

Crawl space membrane installation

Falcon, 80132

Sub-membrane/ perimeter drain depressurization system

Crawl space membrane application with additional suction point coming from sump pit in basement

Initial Radon level: pCi/l
Mitigated level: pCi/l

Crawl space sub-membrane

Colorado Springs, 80906

Sub-membrane depressurization system

Crawl space covered with white high tensil strength membrane. Suction is applied to beneath the membrane to evacuate gases.

Initial Radon level: pCi/l
Mitigated level: pCi/l

Soil gas mat below radiant floor heat

Calhan,

Soil gas collection mat application

Soil gas collector mat application for add on portion of house. Sub-grade being prepped around matting material for radiant floor heat

Initial Radon level: pCi/l
Mitigated level: pCi/l

Polyeurethane caulk application

Colorado Springs, 80924

Caulk work

This is an example of what the caulk work should look like in an unfinished basement. This is where the expansion joint is. This is a 100% polyeurethane caulk which is applied and spread to overlap on the wall as well as the floor to maintain a tight seal. Note the sump pit sealed with a clear lid for future inspecton

Initial Radon level: pCi/l
Mitigated level: pCi/l

Attic installation of fan unit

Colorado Springs, 80906

Attic installation with roof penetration

Fan unit installed in the attic. This is a neat and non obtrusive installation. The fan is very quite in the attic. The fan vents through the roof and looks like any other plumbing vent on the roof.

Initial Radon level: pCi/l
Mitigated level: pCi/l

Perimeter drain installation with exterior connection

Black Forest, 80908

Perimeter drain or Drain tile depressurization system

Perimeter drain installation with the suction point being created by digging down on the outside of the house and connecting to the perimeter drain close to the foundation

Initial Radon level: pCi/l
Mitigated level: pCi/l

Commercial

Pueblo,

Perimeter drain/sump pit depressurization

This is a commercial building fitted with six inch pipe and an industrial grade fan. The suction point was a forgotten about sump pit discovered in a stairwell.
